Former Projects Abroad Volunteer Appears on BBC One's The Apprentice
Raleigh Addington was a volunteer with Projects Abroad on a business placement in China during his gap year in 2006. When staff at Projects Abroad sat down to watch the latest series of The Apprentice they were surprised to see Raleigh starring as one of the candidates.
Raleigh recently graduated from Exeter University and is still keen to pursue a career in business. He stood up well to Sir Alan in the board room last week.
Our China Director Xu Kay was surprised and excited to hear of Raleigh's latest exploits. She said "Raleigh worked at a PR company called Sunnybund and impressed people at work with his strong communication skills. He helped with business development, and also with organising events. He earned the respect and trust from his Chinese colleagues during his placement. He was a great volunteer. It's exciting to hear that he is taking part in The Apprentice, and we are all hoping he will win. We are all cheering for him in China. We wish him the best of luck!"
The next edition is on this Wednesday on BBC1 at 9pm. Everyone at Projects Abroad will be glued to their screens hoping that Raleigh can move closer towards being Lord Sugar's latest apprentice.
